Workshop - Jersey Dress or Tunic
Sew an easy to wear stretch dress, tunic or t-shirt.
Learn how to sew with stretch jersey :
- Choose the correct fabric
- Reading the pattern to determine your size and have your dress altered and fitted to your size
- Following the pattern instructions
- We aim to get your dress sewn together and fitted
- Your pattern altered to your size.
- Hemming may need to be completed at home, guidance will be given to complete this task .
Refreshments of tea and coffee are included throughout your stay.

Either New Look K6411 ( Sizes10-22) or McCalls M6886 (Sizes 6-22) or New Look 6449 (sizes 8-20)
Approx. 1.50 m to 2metres of fabric required.
20% off shop fabrics on the day, our jersey fabrics start from £9.00 to £22.00 per metre.
We do have a thread stand in the shop threads are £1.70.
A sewing kit please bring it along with you.
You will need a sharp pair of dressmaking scissors, pins and tape measure and thread for sewing.
Basic sewing machine skills are required.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required when you book your workshop or sewing group place.
Deposits for parties are 30% of the total cost and full payment received 6 weeks before the event.
If you cancel your workshop I can offer a full refund six weeks before the class commences.
A refund of 50% can be given three weeks before the workshop date or I can move your place to the next available date.
We are unable to offer any refund within the last two weeks leading up to course date.
Sewing group places can be moved forward to the following week provided I have 5 days notice. This can only be carried forward once then your sewing place will need to be re booked.
Should I need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances then your booking fee will be refunded.
