Beginners Sewing Class 11am -1.30pm

  • Join our fun and friendly beginners sewing class!
  • In this relaxed, hands-on session you will learn the basics of sewing step-by-step and create something to take home with pride.
  • Perfect for complete beginners!
  • No experience needed - just enthusiasm to learn!
 

What's included

  • User friendly sewing machines provided.
  • All materials included - just bring yourself!
  • Small group (only 4 people) for lots more guidance.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult (under 18yrs)

Booking and Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required when you book your workshop or sewing group place.

Deposits for parties are 30% of the total cost and full payment received 6 weeks before the event.
If you cancel your workshop I can offer a full refund six weeks before the class commences.

A refund of 50% can be given three weeks before the workshop date or I can move your place to the next available date.

We are unable to offer any refund within the last two weeks leading up to course date.
Sewing group places can be moved forward to the following week provided I have 5 days notice. This can only be carried forward once then your sewing place will need to be re booked.
Should I need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances then your booking fee will be refunded.

Available fonts

Here are a selection of fonts.
Generally the size of text is 12mm on handkerchiefs.
We embroider across one corner of each hankie.
We have two settings for the initials which are straight or are diagonal/stepped. Please see FAQ for examples.
Please be sure to choose the correct setting for the font type you are choosing.
On font types with a flourish certain characters do appear larger,
especially font 22 which the letters are best set up diagonal/stepped- where one initial is lower than the other.
