Making Children's Leggings
Join us for a focused Project Day from 10.30am - 1.30pm. Designed for a small group of three participants to ensure plenty of individual guidance. Bring along your own dressmaking pattern and get hands on support to help you get started. You will learn everything from cutting out fabric to understanding pattern symbols and construction techniques.
  • All sewing machines are provided or you're welcome to bring your own. You also have the opportunity to learn how to use overlockers and coverstitch machines.
  • Work at our large central cutting table, plan your project, and enjoy sewing in a relaxed supportive environment with expert guidance throughout.
We also have a lovely selection of fabrics, threads and essential sewing supplies available to help you build your sewing kit. As a bonus, when you book a Project Day, you will receive 10% off all fabrics - perfect for getting started on your new make.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required when you book your workshop or sewing group place.

Deposits for parties are 30% of the total cost and full payment received 6 weeks before the event.
If you cancel your workshop I can offer a full refund six weeks before the class commences.

A refund of 50% can be given three weeks before the workshop date or I can move your place to the next available date.

We are unable to offer any refund within the last two weeks leading up to course date.
Sewing group places can be moved forward to the following week provided I have 5 days notice. This can only be carried forward once then your sewing place will need to be re booked.
Should I need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances then your booking fee will be refunded.

Available fonts

Here are a selection of fonts.
Generally the size of text is 12mm on handkerchiefs.
We embroider across one corner of each hankie.
We have two settings for the initials which are straight or are diagonal/stepped. Please see FAQ for examples.
Please be sure to choose the correct setting for the font type you are choosing.
On font types with a flourish certain characters do appear larger,
especially font 22 which the letters are best set up diagonal/stepped- where one initial is lower than the other.
